This reusable pill bottle recorder can speak instructions on how to take the medication, potential side effects, and what to do if a dose is missed. It accommodates 40/60 dram up to (1 3/4") containers.

The pharmacist records up to 60 seconds of instructions when dispensing the medication. New messages are recorded each time a new prescription is filled. The voice playback is loud (80 x 85 dB) and clear, making it useful for the visually impaired and hard of hearing. 

The talking bottles are not only beneficial for people with vision impairments due to birth defects, diabetes or age, but also for people who are cognitively impaired, illiterate or those who cannot speak English. Personal recordings can be spoken in any language and the software can translate printed instructions into eight languages.
